The 2015 vintage was a dry and low cropping season that has produced smaller quantities of outstanding wine.
Picked late in March, the wine is a hands-on style of small batch winemaking using open fermenters and basket pressing.
The wine is displaying the spice and pepper renowned in Central Victorian shiraz with abundant dark fruits and powerful fragrance. Rich and spicy, this is a full flavoured style with soft tannings that will live for years.
Sixteen months maturation in French and American Oak barriques prior to bottling has allowed the wine to develop and soften.
